All of what I am allows me to save your special day! So, what am I exactly? I am a professional problem solver. I am a professional time manager. I am a psychiatrist. Oh, and I am a planner. But when the wedding day occurs, it is less about what you have planned and more about what can go wrong and how you deal with it. Picture this: a beautiful couple plans for one year. Flowers, music, food, guests, hotel rooms, favors. You name it, they did it. Down to the very last song being used for every single intro to the speeches. The day starts out beautifully, we are on time and everything is perfect. And then I get the call. It is 3 p.m. (wedding starts at 530) and the dj has been hospitalized! Potential catastrophe.
When was the last time you were at a wedding with no music? It is one of those make or break vendors. So my team and I do what we do best, we call on our trusted vendors, find a replacement and I play emcee all night. You got it, announcing the first dance, the speeches all the way to cake cutting. So for the guests and the couple, the night looked exactly as planned. But from my point of view, it was razor sharp problem solving (and a lot of itunes downloading:) to get it there. Luckily there were no tears, no stressing out and no panicking because “we got it.” That is my job folks. To take care of it all.
Because what can happen, will. You can plan all you want but you can’t plan for your dj being hospitalized. You see, what we wish for any engaged couple is that dream wedding that goes off without a glitch. Luckily when we are on site, that dream can become a reality. Sounds a bit boastful? Well it is. Because you want us to approach your wedding KNOWING that it will be amazing but just figuring out how to get it there. Don’t want to take our word for it? Check out #4 from the Huffington Post….
