The 2015 New York International Bridal Week landed in Manhattan last week, and brought with it an array of fashion-forward wedding trends for the year to come. The bi-annual trade show first made its mark on NYC in 2010, and has been uniting manufacturers, retailers, designers and brides-to-be in this high-end market in the five years since. We’ve put together a roundup of the styles that rocked the runways this year, from color trends to edgey necklines and everything in between. Be on the lookout for these bridal designs in the year to come, and head over to our Pinterest board for even more NYBW 2015 looks.
Going Bare
Though it’s customary for brides to wear white, it doesn’t mean their dresses have to be so pure. We saw a myriad of looks on the runway that make a daring, sexy splash with nude tones and sheer accents. Check out these dresses specifically designed for brides that dare to go bare.

Extreme Necklines
We’ve seen examples of the sexy plunge, but what goes down must also come up. Many designers are getting adventurous with their jaw-dropping necklines — whether they’re mock-turtleneck collars or plunging V’s. Check out some high and low examples below.

Shapely Separates
Far from traditional, two piece wedding dresses are starting to make a serious splash in ateliers and runways. Utilizing separates makes for easy fittings for brides of all sizes. Designer Carolina Herrera notes in a recent New York Times article, “Brides love to wear something they can build themselves. Separates give them options.” Check out some of these looks below.

Off the Shoulder
A mix of sexy, romantic, and immensely figure-flattering, off-the-shoulder dresses were as ubiquitous as ever this Bridal Week. Making their appearances known on the runway, these sultry looks come in a variety of styles and add a soft, feminine touch to any look.
Floral Prints
Feminine and alternative, these wedding dresses add a splash of color to the traditional gown. From watercolor pastels to bold dual tones, we saw spring’s inspiration on the runway in the form of these flirty florals.
