The Anything-But-Traditional Wedding Atop the Trump SoHo Hotel
October 9, 2014
Forty-six floors above New York City stands SoHi, the Trump SoHo Hotel’s NYC venue. The glass-enclosed event space is particularly unique, providing sweeping views of Soho and the surrounding areas. On September 20th, 2014, Save the Date® used the space to create the perfect setting for a wedding high in the sky.
For the bride and groom, the vision for their occasion came in the form of a gold and white themed wedding party. Casual yet elegant, the soiree took an anything-but-traditional theme, with a relaxed nature. On this late September day in beautiful SoHo, the couple and their closest friends gathered together to have an informal – yet undoubtedly celebratory fete atop the Trump SoHo. With the help of Save the Date®, the party was magical.
Guests were delighted by macarons from the French-based Ladurée and a cupcake tier made by Cake Alchemy. Following the party, the planners arranged for everyone to travel downstairs to The Spot, SoHo’s premier nightclub. Before hitting the dance floor, guests dined on White Castle burgers, which were delivered, and then partied with the happy new couple through the night, before pouring out onto the cobblestones of SoHo. A combination of pristine venue selection, creative vendors, innovative minds, and a passionate couple’s vision coming to life made the wedding a day they would always remember.
